Ready for bed

The caretaker has been almost useful since I went over his head yesterday. One of the contractors who was by today seemed surprised that we have this much damage after one tub leak. I pointed out that there wasn’t exactly consensus that the had only been one leak… he went on to point out the black spots developing on our bathroom ceiling and said he would be in Monday to tear everything out. It will take about a week and a half from there….

Class today was awesome – we were looking at Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer novels and the prof kept going on about he’s a big penis. Essentially the novels are full of sexual references, phrases and patterns. It was fascinating. And the lovely young man who believes in romance brought up another one of his crazy theories. I really like him- he actually thinks about this stuff and while I don’t agree with what he comes up with, it is fun listening to someone who is pushing the envelope.

I’m very tired and still need to finish with the ninjas.
